Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Central Baltimore
Stabbing A man was cut in the back by another man inside Lexington Market in the 400 block of W. Lexington St. shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday and was taken by ambulance to an area hospital,. The victim's condition was not available, and no arrest had been made.

Northwestern Baltimore
Arrest Brandon Harman, 23, of the 3400 block of Windsor Mill Road was arrested Tuesday at Lexington Market in the 400 block of W. Lexington St. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with attempted murder and a handgun violation. Harman is charged with shooting a man, 36, in the right arm during an attempted robbery in the 5700 block of Winner Ave. about 6 p.m. Jan. 18 and was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center. Several other males invbolved in the incident were being sought.

Shooting Police reported no arrest had been made in the shooting about 2 p.m. Tuesday of a man in the 3700 block of Oakmont Ave. The victim was shot in the chest and was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. His condition was not available.

Robbery A man, 46, was walking in the 3900 block of Park Heights Ave. about 4 p.m. Monday after leaving a cab when another man threatened him with a knife and kicked him in the stomach. The armed man then robbed the victim of $35 and three containers of pain medicine before fleeing on foot.

Eastern Baltimore
Theft A 1979 Chevrolet with tags L71420 was stolen over the weekend in the 3800 block of Pulaski Highway.

Assault Police were seeking a man who assaulted another man, 33, during an altercation inside a store in the 2000 block of E. North Ave. about 2 p.m. Sunday and struck the victim with an unknown object.

Assault A man, 45, was walking outside New Second Missionary Baptist Church in the 200 block of E. Lanvale St. about 11 a.m. Sunday when another man who was shoveling snow from the pavement demanded the pedestrian give him money. Before the victim could reply, the other man struck him with the shovel. Arrested and charged with aggravated assault was Steven Caraway, also of the 200 block of E. Lanvale St.

Baltimore Co. – Parkville
Robbery Two gunmen forced their way into the home of the owner of Speedy Mart in the 7100 block of Darlington Drive about 11 p.m. Sunday and robbed him of $200 and at least two ATM cards and their ID numbers. The victim told police the men knew he owned the store and that they were holding two employees hostage unless he gave them $10,000 before releasing them. The hostage threat proved to be false.

Baltimore Co. – Wilkens
Burglary Someone broke into a house in the 3000 block of Bero Road early Monday through a rear door and stole video games, a laptop computer and a digital camera.
