Terps' J. Williams named ACC Rookie of the Week

Maryland center Jordan Williams was named the Atlantic Coast Conference's Rookie of the Week. Williams averaged 10.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in a win against Miami and a loss to Clemson.

More honors: Morgan State's Reggie Holmes (St. Frances) was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Week, and teammate DeWayne Jackson (Bowie) earned Rookie of the Week. ... Bowie State sophomore center Travis Hyman (Old Mill) was named Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Newcomer of theWeek.

Schedule: Morgan State will play at Murray State at noon Feb. 20 on ESPNU in a BracketBusters game.
