Bruins center Marc Savard is expected to miss three to four weeks because of a partial ligament tear in his right knee that won't need surgery. Savard suffered an injury to his medial collateral ligament.
Savard, who plays regularly on the power play, was injured along the boards in Thursday's 5-2 loss at home against the Blackhawks.
Savard was lost 28 seconds into the game.
•The suspended Tampa Bay Lightning-New Jersey Devils game will be completed on Sunday. The NHL announced that the teams will play the final period and a half at the Prudential Center, starting at 6 p.m. The game was suspended on Friday night with 9:12 left in the second period when a lighting problem on one side of the arena could not be fixed.
