Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Southern Baltimore
Burglary Someone broke into a house in the 1600 block of Ceddox St. through a kitchen window between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning and stole a 9-mm Ruger semiautomatic handgun of unknown value.

Robbery A man, 28, was seated in a car parked in the 100 block of S. Payson St. about 11 a.m. Friday when a man riding an all-terrain vehicle struck the car. When the occupant got out of the vehicle, the man on the ATV struck him in the head and robbed him of a cell phone valued at $250 before driving off.

Eastern Baltimore
Drug arrest Officer Tavon S. More was patrolling near the Clay Courts Apartments in the 1000 block of N. Gay St. about 10:30 a.m. Sunday when he observed a man throw what appeared to be drug vials onto the ground outside the building. More recovered the vials, suspected to contain cocaine, and arrested the man, police said. Charged with simple possession of cocaine and held at Central Booking and Intake Center was Robert Howell, 49, of the 6600 block of Dalton Drive in Baltimore County.

Theft A 2007 Ford Taurus was parked in the 400 block of E. Eager St. on Sunday when someone broke a window and stole a remote-controlled toy car valued at $40.

Western Baltimore
Robbery Police were seeking three men, at least one armed with a handgun, who entered a house in the 2800 block of Mosher St. about 6 p.m. Sunday and robbed the occupants. Details were not available.

Baltimore Co. – Essex
Burglary/arrest Police responding to a burglary-in-progress call at a house in the 900 block of Ashbridge Drive in Hartland Village about 6 p.m. Saturday arrested a boy, 15, who entered the house through a rear window and stole several video games and video game controllers, police said. The boy was charged with burglary and theft and released into his parents' custody. The property was recovered.

Robbery Police were seeking a man who robbed the Royal Farms store in the 600 block of Mace Ave. of less than $100 about 5 p.m. Friday after giving an employee a note demanding money. During the robbery, the man threatened the clerk.

Baltimore Co. – Woodlawn
Arson About noon Saturday, a man set fire to the kitchen, basement hallway and basement of a relative's house in the 6400 block of Clifton Forge Circle, causing $50,000 damage, police said. No injuries were reported and a warrant was expected to be issued for the suspect's arrest on arson charges.
