Shootings: Two men, one of them an off-duty Towson University police officer, were seated in a car parked in the 3900 block of Clarinth Road about 11 p.m. Tuesday when two masked men, one armed with a handgun, approached and spoke to them. Upon seeing the gun, the driver attempted to drive off. Bullets shattered the driver's-side window, hitting the driver in the left arm and the passenger in both legs. The driver drove to Sinai Hospital, where the men were treated for their wounds. Several shell casings were recovered at the scene. No arrests had been made.
Shooting: Shortly before midnight Tuesday, a man was shot in the left leg by an unknown assailant in the 700 block of Dr. Benjamin Quarles Drive and was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Details were not available.
Homicide : Police responding to a report of a person shot inside a car at East North Avenue and Aisquith Street about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday found a man bleeding from at least one bullet wound. The man, whose name was not releaed, was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Drug arrest: Officer Earl Etting and trainee Daniel Sexton were patrolling in the 2400 block of Robb St. about 3 a.m. Tuesday when they observed a man in a parked car who appeared not to be moving. During an interview, the officers seized 26 vials of cocaine, two small plastic bags of heroin, two syringes, two glass pipes used to smoke marijuana and other drugs. Arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses was Ralph J. Scott, 39, of the 5900 block of Falkirk Road.
Theft: Passenger doors, each valued at $400, were stolen over the weekend from two vehicles parked at JPR Body Shop in the 4400 block of Pulaski Highway.

Vandalism: A large candy cane decorated with lights and a Mickey Mouse decoration, all valued at nearly $200, in the yard of a house in the 8800 block of Avondale Road were damaged overnight Monday.
