Residents can help evaluate Annapolis police

Annapolis residents can tell a national organization that evaluates law enforcement agencies what they think of the Annapolis Police Department at a hearing Monday night.

The public hearing will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the department's headquarters, 199 Taylor Ave.

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, representatives from the Commission for Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies will take comment by telephone. Call 410-268-9000, ext. 7330.

Assessors began their on-site review of the Police Department on Saturday.
