Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Northwestern Baltimore
Barricade/arrest A man charged with failing to appear in court for an undisclosed offense and also suspected of committing an armed robbery was arrested about 7 p.m. Tuesday by members of the city SWAT team after barricading himself in a burned-out vacant house in the 4600 block of Pimlico Road for nearly five hours. The man was taken to police headquarters for interviews with city-wide robbery detectives. There were no injuries.

Northern Baltimore
Armed robbery A 19-year-old Towson University student was robbed of her purse about 2 a.m. Sunday by a gunman as she walked along 30th Street near St. Paul Street in Charles Village. When the man threatened to shoot the woman if she didn't cooperate, the woman told the man the gun he carried was not real, according to police. The man struck her with the gun, stole her purse and fled. The woman chased the man for a short distance before going to Union Memorial Hospital, where she was treated for a minor injury and released.

Western Baltimore
Shooting A man, 19, was reported in good condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after he was shot in the lower back about 6 p.m. Monday by an unknown assailant in the 900 block of Harlem Ave, while he walked with a friend. Police said the victim was taken by the friend to the hospital and that no arrest had been made

Northeast Baltimore
Carjacking/shooting Police were seeking two men who robbed two men of $1,500 about 12:15 p.m. Monday in the 6100 block of Fairdel Ave. before shooting one of the victims in the left arm and stealing their Chevrolet Tahoe. The vehicle was recovered in the 5800 block of Frankford Ave. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern Baltimore
Burglary A lap top computer, a digital camera, jewelry and a DVD player, all valued at nearly $2,700, were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 4700 block of Duane Ave. by someone who entered through a rear window.

Robbery A man, 19, was walking in the 600 block of Washburn Ave. about 5 p.m. Monday when two male teens demanded his money. When the victim said he had none, the teens robbed him of his gloves.

Arson After two male residents of an apartment building in the 4100 block of Audrey Ave. argued over one of them tampering with the water heater Saturday morning, one of them set a fire in the building that caused $1,000 damage. There were no injuries and a warrant has been issued for the man's arrest.

Baltimore Co. – Essex
Robbery Several young men, one armed with a handgun, forced a man, 22, into a vacant apartment in the first block of Oak Grove Road about 10:40 p.m. Monday, bound him with tape and robbed him of a cell phone, his money and other property.

Robbery A man, 41,was in the 400 block of Torner Road abut 9:30 p.m. Monday when another man robbed him of $5.

Baltimore Co. – White Marsh
Burglary Jewelry, medication and an iPod, all worth $1,710, were stolen Monday from a house in the first block of Andersham Court through a rear door.

Burglary Copper piping and copper connectors, all valued at $3,000, were stolen over the weekend from a Baltimore Gase & Electric Co. substation in the 4400 block of Bucks School House Road.

Burglary Scrap copper valued at $2,100 was stolen over the weekend from storage trailers at R. Carpenter Construction Inc. in the 100 block of Philadelphia Ave.

Baltimore Co. – Parkville
Burglary Jewelry and cash, all worth $900, were stolen Monday from a house in the 9000 block of Satyr Hill Road by someone who entered through a rear window.

Baltimore Co. – Towson
Robbery A pizza deliveryman was about to get in his car after delivering food to the occupants of a house in the 1800 block of Aberdeen Road about 6:40 p.m. Monday when a gunman placed a weapon to the victim's head, forced him to the ground and robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money.

Baltimore Co. – Woodlawn
Burglary Liquor, cigarettes, cash, beer and vodka were stolen early Monday from Liberty Road Wines & Spirits in the 8700 block of Liberty Road by someone who entered after breaking a window with a rock.
