Ravens vs. Packers: 3 things that need to go right

December 04, 2009

1. Ray Rice continues to carry the offense. Over the past eight games, the Ravens running back has totaled 1,126 yards from scrimmage, an average of 140.7 yards per game. That has accounted for 43 percent of the Ravens' offense during that stretch.

2. Defense sets up the offense. The Ravens have forced six turnovers in their past three games. The offense has converted them into 19 of the 51 points scored in that span.

3. Chris Carr keeps running with a purpose. Instead of signaling for fair catches, Carr averaged a season-best 14.2 yards on punt returns against Pittsburgh. The Packers rank 28th in punt coverage, giving up 11.5 yards per return.
