BOXING: Bernard Hopkins, 44, defeated Enrique Ornelas by unanimous decision in a light heavyweight bout in Philadelphia. Hopkins' next fight won't be a long-awaited rematch with Roy Jones Jr. The two had hoped to fight in March, but Jones lost to Australian Danny Green in the first round of their fight in Sydney. The 40-year-old Jones, in his first professional fight on foreign soil in his 20-year career, was denied his ninth title across five weight classes. ... Promoter Bob Arum flew to the Philippines with a proposed contract for Manny Pacquiao to a March 13 fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
