Navy's Chris Harris named Player of Week

Greg Monroe scored a season-high 19 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, Chris Wright added a season-high 18 points and No. 16 Georgetown remained undefeated with an 83-62 win over visiting Mount St. Mary's on Monday night. Julian Vaughn had a career-high 14 points and matched his career best with eight rebounds and three blocks for the Hoyas (5-0), , who went on an 11-2 run to open the second half. Jean Cajou scored 16 points and Tayvon Jackson added 11 for the Mountaineers (3-3). ... Chris Harris banked in a half-court shot at the buzzer to lift Navy (3-4) to a 65-62 victory over visiting Quinnipiac (3-2), which had tied the game with 2.4 seconds left.

Honors: Harris was named Patriot League men's Player of the Week. ... Maryland freshman forward Diandra Tchatchouang was named Atlantic Coast Conference women's Rookie of the Week ... UMBC sophomore guard Michelle Kurowski was named America East women's Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks.
