Fire destroyed a home in the Bay Ridge section of an Annapolis suburb Monday night. The Anne Arundel Co. Fire Department responded to a house fire at 2605 Ogleton Road at 5:24 p.m. Battalion Chief Matthew Tobia said that flames engulfed the two-story frame house and the flames were visible across the Chesapeake Bay, where Queen Anne's County residents made 911 calls. He said that firefighters employed water tankers because there is no municipal hydrant system in the area. He said that crews continued to investigate the fire. An adult male resident of the house remained unaccounted for late Monday. The fire was brought under control at 6:44 p.m.
