Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Western Baltimore
Arrest Police armed with a search and seizure warrant entered an apartment in the 800 block of Vine St. on Tuesday afternoon after they observed a drug transaction in the nearby Poe Homes. They arrested one man and seized a loaded 9mm handgun, several ounces of marijuana and more than $1,000. Charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute was Jon Johnson, 26, of the Vine Street address.

Southern Baltimore
Drug arrests Five men were arrested early Tuesday on drug charges after district drug enforcement officers armed with warrants raided a house in the 300 block of S. Stricker St. Seized were two handguns, ammunition, 53 plastic baggies containing marijuana, 28 grams of marijuana and packaging materials. Arrested in the house were Carlton Morehead, 34, Zegory Chambers, 38, and Gushawn Braxton, 30, all residents of the raided house. Arrested for allegedly purchasing drugs from the house before the raid were Antwon Watson, 25, of the 500 block of S. Fulton Ave. and Richard McDowell, 19, of the 400 block of S. Mount St. The arrests followed undercover purchases of marijuana. As of Tuesday, city police seized 2,320 guns during various arrests.

Southwestern Baltimore
Shooting Police were seeking a man who shot another man in the shoulder shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Wildwood Parkway and fled toward Leakin Park. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Details were not available.

Eastern Baltimore
Assault A woman, 23, was standing outside a car parked in the 1400 block of E. Madison St. while arguing with a male occupant when the man drove off and struck the woman. The woman was not seriously injured.

Burglary Someone broke into a house in a public housing unit in the 800 block of Abbott Court through a rear door Saturday and stole a 50-inch TV, a lap top computer, an iPod and a Playstation-3, all valued at $3,100.

Theft/arrest A man, 41, was arrested Monday when he attempted to leave R&M Bargain Store in the 2200 block of E. Monument St. without paying for toiletry items valued at $20, police say. Charged with theft was James Pages of the 1500 block of E. Biddle St.

Robbery A man, 47, was walking in the 800 block of Ensor St. about 1:40 p.m. Monday when a second man exited a dark-colored BMW and robbed him of $33 while implying he was armed.

Theft An iPod valued at $160 was stolen Sunday from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of N. Montford Ave.

Northern Baltimore
Burglary Jewelry of unknown value was stolen Monday from the bedroom of a house in the 5000 block of Yellowwood Road by someone who entered through a second-floor door.

Burglary A lap top computer was stolen Monday from a house in the 3300 block of Ellerslie Ave.

Burglary Someone entered a house in the 300 block of E. University Parkway through a window Monday and stole two lap top computers, all worth $1,200.

Southeast Baltimore
Robbery A man, 25, of the 100 block of N. Washington St. was taking out the trash about 3:30 a.m. Sunday when two younger men asked him for the time. Before the man could reply, one of the youths pulled out a handgun and robbed him of his keys, a cell phone and $40 before fleeing on foot.

Baltimore Co. – Essex
Burglary A Wii game system and 15 games, all valued at $750, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 900 block of Freyers Lane by someone who entered through a rear door.

Burglary Someone entered a house in the 1500 block of Becklow Ave. on Monday after removing an air conditioner from a rear window and stole gold rings, a watch and two high school rings, all valued at $520.

Baltimore Co. – Franklin
Stolen vehicle A black two-door 1995 Honda Civic with tags 7FR E40 was stolen Monday in the 4500 block of Lyons Run Circle.

Stolen vehicle Police were seeking a blue four-door 1995 Honda Accord with tags 6FC N53 that was stolen Monday while parked on Painters Farm Road near Bailey Lane.

Baltimore Co. – Woodlawn
Robbery Two men were walking along Crosby Road near Rolling Road about 7 a.m. Monday when four men, one armed with a handgun, exited a black van and robbed them of more than $300.
