Ravens vs. Colts: 3 things that need to go right

1. Get off to a fast start this time. The Ravens haven't scored an offensive touchdown in the first quarter since Derrick Mason's leaping catch in the end zone Oct. 4, a drought of five games. They can't afford to get into an early hole against the Colts' attack.

2. Convert third downs. The best way to negate Peyton Manning is to keep the ball away from him. The Colts' defense ranks 30th in third-down efficiency, but the Ravens have converted only five of their past 24 third downs (20.8 percent).

3. Pressure Manning. The New England Patriots contained him in the first three quarters Sunday because they were able to collapse the pocket. The Ravens must do the same, but they have to figure out how to do it without Terrell Suggs (knee sprain).
