Terps rout Drexel, 5-0, reach national semifinals

Nicole Muracco broke open a scoreless game with two goals within two minutes just before halftime, helping top-seeded Maryland advance to its second consecutive national semifinals with its 5-0 win Sunday over visiting Drexel. The Terps' points leader, Katie O'Donnell, scored two minutes into the second half off a deflection. Janessa Pope and Megan Frazer also scored. Maryland outshot Drexel 33-3 and led in penalty corners 15-2. Maryland will play Princeton at 2 p.m. Friday in Winston-Salem, N.C.; the Terps beat the Tigers, 3-2, in overtime during the regular season in College Park.

Division III: Second-ranked and host Salisbury (18-1) earned a 3-2 victory over No. 5 SUNY Cortland (19-1) to advance to the NCAA semifinals. The Sea Gulls will travel to South Hadley, Mass., to face fourth-ranked Tufts on Saturday.
