No suspects in city shooting that leaves one dead

Officers patrolling North and Druid Hill avenues at 12 :45 a.m. Saturday, heard shots coming from the 2800 block of Druid Hill Ave., said police spokesman Donny Moses. "The victim was Sammie McCullough Jr., 36, who was found sitting in a 2003 Honda with gunshot wounds to the neck," Moses said. McCullough was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m. Police said they had no suspects in the case.
