Phil Castronova had just three carries for 35 yards - but two of those runs went for touchdowns - as No. 10 Calvert Hall routed host St. Frances, 39-0, on Thursday.

It was the fifth shutout victory this season for the Cardinals (7-4).

"Our team is where they are supposed to be," Calvert Hall coach Donald Davis said. "Our great team defense has helped us win games."

Calvert Hall led 22-0 after the first quarter.

The Cardinals' final game is Nov. 26 in the annual Turkey Bowl at 10 a.m. at M&T Bank Stadium against No. 12 Loyola (7-2).

The Dons lead the 89-year-old series, 48-33-8.
