Tonight's game
When: 7:35

Where: 1st Mariner Arena

Outlook: The Blast opens the 30th season of professional indoor soccer in Baltimore against visiting Rockford in a rematch of last year's National Indoor Soccer League championship game. The Blast won, 13-10, to claim its fifth title in seven years, getting a 13-save performance from veteran G Sagu. Familiar players Machel Millwood, Denison Cabral and Giuliano Celenza will lead the Blast's offense, while veteran M Robbie Aristodemo takes over the captain's role for retired standout P.J. Wakefield. Sagu, last season's Goalkeeper of the Year, returns to anchor the defense, with veteran Billy Nelson providing steady help in the back. The Rampage brings plenty of talent, led by F Bato Radoncic, M Matthew Stewart and D Tijani Ayegbusi. Danny Waltman replaces Sanaldo in goal. Blast coach Danny Kelly said the Rampage is big and physical in the back, and the key for the home team will be to stay composed and keep moving with and without the ball to create scoring chances.
