State police seek suspect in two Edgewood robberies

November 12, 2009

Maryland State Police were searching for a middle-age man in connection with two robberies Tuesday night in Edgewood. Shortly after 10 p.m., the man implied that he was armed with a handgun and robbed the Friendly's restaurant at 1407 Pulaski Highway, police said. Employees told police that the man entered the kitchen area through the carryout entrance. The few patrons dining in an adjacent room were unaware of the robbery, police said. During the investigation at the restaurant, Harford County sheriff's deputies responded to a robbery at a CVS pharmacy on Pulaski Highway. Investigators believe the same man was involved in both robberies. Anyone with information about the robber or his whereabouts is asked to call the State Police Bel Air Barracks at 410-838-7355.
