Indoor tailgate party set for Sports Legends Museum

Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards will host an indoor tailgate party Nov. 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. before the Ravens' Sunday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium. Unlimited food and beverages are included in the $35 ticket, and attendees will be able to watch the 4 p.m. NFL games in the museum's theater. College field hockey: : Top-ranked Maryland will play Wake Forest, the No. 4 seed, in the Atlantic Coast Conference semifinals at 4 p.m. today in Charlottesville, Va. The Demon Deacons defeated No. 5 seed Boston College, 4-3, on Thursday. Maryland had a bye. ... Stevenson junior goalie Kara Zimmerman (Arundel) was named ECAC Defensive Player of the Week and Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Women's college basketball: : Mount St. Mary's was picked eighth, according to the Northeast Conference preseason coaches' poll. Sacred Heart was the favorite.

College swimming: : St. Mary's freshman Billy DeBoissiere (Atholton) was named Capital Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week.

WNBA: : The Washington Mystics will have the seventh pick in the 2010 draft as determined by the draft lottery held Thursday.
