Three Things That Need To Go Right

November 06, 2009|By Jamison Hensley

1 Shut down running back Cedric Benson. With his power style, Benson became the first running back in 40 games to rush for 100 yards against the Ravens. Cincinnati is 3-0 this season when he gains 100 yards. The Ravens are 0-2 when they allow a back to reach 100.

2 Get wide receiver Derrick Mason involved. The last game against the Bengals was only the second time that Mason was shut out in his 71-game Ravens career. He remains a vital part of the offense, scoring in four of his past five games.

3 Joe Flacco extends his streak of not throwing an interception. Flacco was picked off a season-worst two times by the Bengals last month. Since then, he hasn't thrown an interception in two games, a span of 54 passes.
