On October 12, 2009, PHOEBE L. SEWELL (nee McFadden) of Abingdon, MD. Beloved wife of the late Charles S. Sewell. Devoted mother of William H. Sewell, II, Robert S. Sewell and Charlyn Sewell Fisher, PhD. Loving sister of H. Viola Washburn. Also survived by one grandson, Scott Sewell and one great-granddaughter, Kendall Noell Sewell. predeceased by a grandson, Charles Smith Sewell, III. Services will be held at the family owned McComas Funeral Home, P.A., Abingdon, MD, Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at 2:30 P.M. Interment will be in Cokesbury United Methodist Church Cemetery, Abingdon, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home in Abingdon on Wednesday from 1 to 2:30 P.M.
