Series: : Maryland leads 41-15-1.
Last meeting:: Maryland won, 26-0, on Oct. 18, 2008, in College Park.
Maryland offense vs. Wake Forest defense:: With Da'Rel Scott (broken wrist) out, the Terps will rotate Davin Meggett and Gary Douglas at running back. Coaches might also play one of two freshmen running backs - Caleb Porzel or D.J. Adams. Wake Forest has a young defense that had just four takeaways before last week's 30-24 win over North Carolina State, in which the Demon Deacons had two interceptions and one fumble recovery. CB Brandon Ghee leads the team in tackles with 30.
Maryland defense vs. Wake Forest offense:: The Demon Deacons have a potent offensive line to protect fifth-year senior QB Riley Skinner. "Between them, they probably have more starts than any offensive line in the nation," Maryland defensive coordinator Don Brown said. Skinner has a school-record 45 career touchdown passes. His favorite targets include WR Marshall Williams, third in the ACC in receiving yards per game (80.2). WR Chris Givens had eight receptions for 113 yards against N.C. State.
