Sixty-two veterans rolled their windows down Saturday morning and received flu shots at Perry Point Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cecil County. Veterans who participated showed their VA identification and were given the seasonal influenza vaccine shot in the parking lot of the outpatient clinic. Some veterans also received a pneumonia vaccine. Clinic coordinator Kelly Jones said the 62 vaccines administered on Saturday surpass the 26 that were given out at the medical center's first drive-through clinic last year. The VA Maryland Health Care System plans to continue its drive-through flu clinics from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Loch Raven VA Community Outpatient Clinic, 3901 The Alameda, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 17 at the parking garage of the VA Baltimore Medical Center, 10 N. Greene St.
