Senior starting forward Liles no longer on Maryland team
The University of Maryland women's basketball team has announced that starting senior forward Dee Liles is no longer with the program. Liles, who averaged10.6 points and led the Terps (31-5) in rebounding (9.0 a game), blocked shots (1.7 a game) and field-goal percentage (.521). will remain enrolled this semester. "We enjoyed having Dee as part of the Maryland basketball program," Maryland coach Brenda Frese said. "We wish her all the best in the future."
Men's college soccer: : The No. 2 Maryland men (5-3-1 overall, 2-1-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) lost, 2-0, at No. 14 Duke (7-2, 2-2) on Friday night in Durham, N.C. "This was a much better performance than Tuesday," Maryland coach Sasho Cirovski said, referring to Tuesday's 2-0 loss to George Mason. "It was unfortunate that our attack wasn't able to help us reward ourselves. Tonight was a good performance with a bad result."

Wizards first-year coach Flip Saunders says the oft-injured Arenas has taken part in just about everything during training camp but a dislocated finger sidelined him for the scrimmages.
