Language classes
The Center for World Languages at Anne Arundel Community College offers comprehensive eight-course sequenced foreign language instruction in nine languages. These no-credit, continuing-education language series are available in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
The center is offering classes at the Arnold campus and the Arundel Mills facility from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. two nights a week. For European languages, sessions run for six weeks; more time is allotted for the Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian courses.
Cost for the French, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese courses is $200 each, including a registration fee. The Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian courses are $275 each, plus registration fees.
