Jenn Ward scored two unassisted goals and Caitlin Dempsy added one as visiting No. 11 Fallston (3-3) upended No. 1 Garrison Forest.
"Fallston played a great game," Grizzlies coach Traci Davis said.
"They passed really well, were very quick moving the ball and did a nice job defensively.
"We came out flat in the first half and came alive in the second, but Fallston had a great day and took us out of our game."
FOR THE RECORD - An article in Tuesday's Sports section credited Meghan Dunnigan with having made 11 saves in the Fallston field hockey team's 3-2 win over Garrison Forest. Anne Morgan Milchling made the 11 saves. The Baltimore Sun regrets the error.
Freshman Geagy Pritchard scored both goals for Garrison Forest (7-1-1) with assists by Meghan Cover on the first and Cailie Murphy on the second.
Meghan Dunnigan had 11 saves in the victory, and Emily Cain had four saves for the Grizzlies.
Park 1, Friends 0, OT: : Amy Livingston scored with one minute remaining in overtime to lift the visiting Bruins (1-2) over the Quakers (1-3-1).
"It was an evenly matched game that went down right to the wire," Park coach Kara Hickok said. "The girls fought really hard."
St. Vincent Pallotti 2, Lutheran 1: : Jennifer Huntley and Chelsea Ofili scored for the visiting Panthers.
Maddy Goodman assisted on Huntley's goal, and Shelby Lyles got the assist on Ofili's goal.
Carolyn Correa had seven saves for Pallotti.
Girls soccer
No. 1 Archbishop Spalding 1, Severn 0, 2OT: : Teresa Doyle scored the game-winner in the 98th minute for the visiting Cavaliers (8-0). Lindsay VanOrder assisted on the goal.
Boys soccer
No. 11 Archbishop Curley 3, No. 14 Loch Raven 0:: Goals by senior Aaron Beale and freshmen P.J. Koscher and Christian Kershaw powered the visiting Friars (4-2-2) over the Raiders (3-3-1).
"It was a good win for us," Curley coach Barry Stitz said.
