Four people hospitalized after shooting in West Baltimore

Four people were hospitalized after being injured in a drive-by shooting early Friday in West Baltimore, police said. The victims - a 21-year-old woman and three men, ages 38, 31 and 29 - were sitting on the front steps of a home in the 1700 block of N. Warwick Ave. about 12:30 a.m. when a white, four-door Acura pulled up and the front and backseat passengers opened fire, police said. The woman was struck in the right ankle, while the men were struck in the left thigh, right thigh and left shin, respectively, according to police. The wounds were not considered life-threatening. Pasadena man arrested after marijuana plants found

A Pasadena man was arrested on drug charges early Friday after Anne Arundel County police said they found marijuana plants growing in the backyard of his residence. Acting on a tip, officers went to the property in the 8600 block of Gambier Harbour about midnight Thursday and saw what they believed to be marijuana plants in the fenced yard, police said. After obtaining a warrant, the officers searched the property about 3:40 a.m. and found seven marijuana plants, 31.7 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, with an approximate street value of $5,490, police said. Christopher R. Brackoneski, 34, was charged with manufacturing of controlled dangerous substances and possession with intent to distribute, both felonies, as well as two drug possession misdemeanors, police said.
