Police reports in Baltimore city and county:

Eastern Baltimore

Theft/arrest: Employees of Scores Nightclub in the 600 block of The Fallsway witnessed a man breaking into a Volkswagen on their lot about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and called police. Officers responded and arrested a man who was still inside the car while removing a car stereo system. Arrested and charged with theft was Reginald Jones, 42, a resident of a nearby homeless shelter in the 200 block of Guilford Ave.

Theft: A vehicle was parked in the 300 block of Gay St. on Monday when someone broke into the vehicle through a window and stole a cell phone, CDs, tools and the vehicle's registration, all valued at $335.

Southern Baltimore

Burglary: Police were seeking a man who broke into a Save-On-Food Market in the 400 block of E. Patapsco Ave. through an exhaust fan in the rear of the store about 3 a.m. Wednesday and stole cash and cigarettes, all valued at $4,319. The burglary was recorded on a surveillance camera.

Baltimore Co. -- White Marsh

Armed robbery: A man entered the Dollar General in the 8400 block of Philadelphia Road about 6 p.m. Thursday and placed a bag of potato chips on the counter. When the clerk opened the cash register, the man pulled out a handgun and ordered her to give him money. After he was given an undisclosed sum, the man fled and drove off in a red sport utility vehicle.

Baltimore Co. -- Woodlawn

Robbery: A woman, 50, was walking in the first block of Mountbatten Court about 8:30 p.m. Monday when a man stole a bag she was carrying containing groceries valued at $18.
