Arundel Police Arrest 8 In Drug Investigation

Anne Arundel County police seized suspected cocaine and marijuana and charged eight people in the second recent investigation into illegal drug use in the Brooklyn Park-Glen Burnie area. Police said Friday that they conducted the two-month investigation based on complaints from residents. The searches were at residences in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road in Brooklyn Park; the 5300 block of Patrick Henry Drive in Brooklyn Park; the 5300 block of Wasena Ave. in Brooklyn Park; the 900 block of Langley Road in Glen Burnie; and the 100 block of Main Ave. S.E. in Glen Burnie, police said. Detectives seized nearly 960 grams of suspected marijuana and more than 6 grams of suspected crack cocaine. Arrested were: Marcus Johnson, 19, of the 3800 block of Potee St. in Baltimore; Jody Ann Gionest, 42, and Wayne Timothy Clark, 36, 4900 block of Brookwood Road; Bryan Lee Brooks, 20, and Courtney Lee Brooks, 26, 5300 block of Patrick Henry Drive; Ashley M. Ross, 18, of the 5300 block of Wasena Ave.; and Raymond Justin Pollard, 23, and Ashley Marie Carrillo, 20, 900 block of Langley Road.
