* Patients First will host a town hall on patients rights at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Timonium Holiday Inn, 9615 Deereco Road, Timonium. The free forum will focus on health care reform with a lineup of speakers including Dr. Michael Gloth of Johns Hopkins.

* Anne Arundel County will hold an H1N1 Influenza Forum at 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at Anne Arundel Community College, Cade Building, Room 219. Speakers include County Executive John R. Leopold and speakers representing the department of health, emergency operations and schools. The event is free. To register, e-mail CCServices@aacounty.org.

* Howard County General Hospital's Parkinson Support Group is changing its meeting day and time. Beginning Sept. 8, the group will meet on the second Tuesday of every month from noon to 1 p.m. in the hospital's Bolduc Family Outpatient Center. Call 443-718-3135.

* The Saint Agnes Foundation will host its first annual Hops, Scotch & Sip event, a fundraiser offering wine, scotches and pale and brown ales, as well as food and music, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 12 at Montgomery Park, 1800 Washington Blvd., Baltimore. Call 410-368-3155.
