When: : Friday through Sept. 19.

What: : The 16-day Philadelphia Live Arts Festival is a collection of global contemporary artists presenting music, dance, comedy/improv, experimental theater and other boundary-breaking performing arts.

Philly Fringe is an unfiltered festival where new and established artists present their work. This year, more than 180 artists will produce shows.

How much: : All weeknight and Sunday-night Live Arts Festival shows are $25. Performances on weekend afternoons or Saturday nights are $30. Philly Fringe show prices vary. Buy tickets to two or more shows and save 20 percent.
