Police reports in Baltimore city and county:

Southern Baltimore

Bank robbery/arrests: Two men were arrested shortly before noon Monday after robbing the M&T Bank branch in the 3400 block of Annapolis Road. Police said money taken in the robbery was recovered. Details of the robbery and the names of the suspects were not available.

Eastern Baltimore

Drug arrest: Police responding to a report from Johns Hopkins Hospital security officers that a man was in possession of illegal drugs in the 900 block of N. Eden St. about noon Monday led to the arrest of Vernon Edwards, 40, who told police he was homeless. Seized from Edwards were several gel caps containing heroin and powdered heroin.

Drug arrest: Police were in a covert position near a playground in the 1100 block of N. Eden St. on Monday when they observed a man dealing drugs. Arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute was Solomon Williams, 44, of the 1800 block of Chilton St. Seized from Williams were 15 gel caps of heroin and $101.

Stolen vehicle: A blue 2005 Dodge Caravan with tags 02400M6 was stolen Monday in the 900 block of Homewood Ave.

Baltimore Co. -- Essex

Burglary: A DVD player and a safe were stolen on Saturday or Sunday from a house in the 300 block of Poplar Road by someone who entered through a first-floor bedroom window.

Robbery: Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the Royal Farms in the 1300 block of Windlass Road about 11 p.m. Saturday and fled moments later with 12 cartons of cigarettes, all valued at $749.

Baltimore Co. -- Parkville

Burglary: Someone broke into a garage in the 8000 block of Temple Ave. on Sunday and removed an aluminum auto jack valued at $300.

Baltimore Co. -- Franklin

Burglary: A saddle valued at $1,000 was stolen between Saturday and Sunday from a barn in the 12000 block of Gores Mill Road.

Stolen vehicle: A green 1996 Jeep Cherokee with tags 28744M4 was stolen Sunday in the 12000 block of Tarragon Road.

Baltimore Co. -- Pikesville

Robbery try: A man, 27, was standing at a bus stop at Liberty Road and Rockdale Terrace about 6:45 p.m. Saturday when another man demanded his money and began searching the victim's pockets. When the victim resisted, the other man fled.
