Police reports in Baltimore city and county:

Northern Baltimore

Drug arrests : Three men were arrested Thursday in the 5700 block of The Alameda and charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute. Their names were withheld pending an investigation. Seized were three ounces of heroin, more than 1,500 heroin capsules and $1,424.

Shooting: A man was shot in a hand Thursday during an incident in the 5000 block of Midwood Ave. and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Details were not available.

Eastern Baltimore

Body found : The body of a woman, whose name has not been released, was found Tuesday inside an apartment in the 1300 block of E. Lanvale St., and homicide detectives have described her death as suspicious pending the results of an autopsy by the state medical examiner's office. Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide squad at 410-396-2100.

Assault : Police were seeking three teenage boys who attacked a man, 49, in the 400 block of N. Madeira St. about noon Wednesday for no apparent reason and struck him with a brick, causing minor injuries. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and was released.

Theft : Someone broke into a vehicle (no description) parked in the 1000 block of Brentwood Ave. near the city's Central Booking and Intake Center Wednesday and stole an iPod.

Burglary : CDs valued at $600 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 900 block of N. Chester St. by someone who entered the dwelling through a rear bathroom window.

Northeastern Baltimore

Barricade : Police on Thursday afternoon cordoned off several streets for nearly five hours while searching for at least one robbery suspect who reportedly fled into a house near Belair Road and Montana Avenue in the Waltherson neighborhood. In addition to ground units, that included a K-9 officer and SWAT members, the crew of a police helicopter flew overhead observing the scene. No arrest was made and the search was called off about 9:15 p.m.


Baltimore Co. -- Woodlawn

Burglary/arrest : A man, 20, was arrested Thursday afternoon and police were seeking another male after the two broke into a house in the 5000 block of Franklin Ave. between noon and 1 p.m. the same day and stole three laptop computers, all valued at $3,000. The intruders were observed in the house by the occupant, who called police. None of the computers were recovered and charges against the man arrested were pending an investigation.

Baltimore Co. -- White Marsh

Burglary : A bicycle valued at $100 was stolen early Thursday from the back yard of a house in the 4000 block of Garland Ave.

Theft : A 2001 Ford Crown Victoria owned by a private cab firm was parked in the 1100 block of Rosedale Ave. between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. Thursday when someone broke into the vehicle and stole two navigational systems valued at nearly $360.

Robbery : A man, 23, was walking along King Avenue near Franklin Square Drive about 5 a.m. Wednesday when he was attacked by three younger males in their teens or early 20s who robbed him of his wallet containing his driver's license, credit cards and other documents.

Burglary : Police were seeking two males who entered the back yard of a house in the 11700 block of Larch Road early Tuesday and stole a cream-colored 2001 Honda Rancher all-terrain vehicle valued at $4,000.

Baltimore Co. -- Parkville

Vandalism : A boy was aboard a county school bus stopped in the 3800 block of Perryhurst Place Wednesday when he kicked out the window of a door, causing $100 damage. The boy was detained.
