Pool Party For Town Center, Wilde Lake Residents

The Town Center and Wilde Lake Community Associations will host a family pool party from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Bryant Woods Pool. Event is free and include pizza, refreshments, swimming and a raffle. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Party is for Town Center and Wilde Lake residents only. Slayton House events

* Summer registration continues for Slayton House Camp of the Arts. Camp dates are Aug. 3-14. Families with two or more children in the same session can receive a discount.

* Two-person exhibit continuing through Aug. 14 features the photographs of Stanley Rodbell in the Bill White Room Gallery and a mixed-media exhibit in the Lobby Gallery by Jeri Lipov. * Slayton House Gallery is accepting applications from artists interested in exhibiting during the 2009-2010 season. Billiards : Everyone is invited to shoot pool from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays-Fridays at Glenwood Senior Center, 2400 Route 97. Free. Information: 410-313-5440.

Fit for Life exercises: Participants go through aerobics, strength training and abs work, 8:20 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. Fridays at Glenwood Senior Center. Cost is $45 for 12 classes.

'Line dancing and Beyond': Class at Glenwood Senior Center is taught by Mary McCormick, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Cost is $40. Beginners welcome.

Silver Sneakers Walking Club : Led by a staffer on an indoor three-lane walking/jogging track at 8:30 a.m. Mondays-Fridays at Glenwood Senior Center. Everyone is invited.

Hatha Yoga: Classes on ancient Indian system of physical postures and breathing exercises will be held 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Glenwood Senior Center. Free.

Sports camps : The River Hill Boosters will sponsor summer sports camps at River Hill High School in Clarksville. The camps are designed to help young athletes improve basic skills. More than 20 camps will be offered this summer, including football, soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, lacrosse, field hockey, volleyball, basketball, cross county, track and field, cheerleading, weight training, wrestling and dance. Wii club : Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks offers a Wii club for those 55 and older from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesdays at the Bain Center, 5470 Ruth Keeton Way. Bowl, fish or play tennis or baseball without leaving the building. The first game is free.
