The free 2009-2010 edition of Services for Seniors, Adults With Disabilities and Caregivers is available at the Heritage Office Complex, 2666 Riva Road, fourth floor, Annapolis, and the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities' seven senior activity centers, county public libraries and Giant Food stores. Partners and sponsors
The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities is accepting partnership and sponsorship opportunities to businesses and other private sector agencies.
Opportunities include the Family Caregiver workshop series, the annual Caregivers' Wellness Day, the annual caregivers' conference, the Planning for the Future workshop series and sponsorships for publications and various products.
Sponsorship categories start at $500. To obtain a sponsor agreement form, call 410-222-4257, ext. 3051. The department does not endorse any particular vendor or business and has the right to approve or reject potential sponsors.
Kids' club for wellness
Arundel Mills will offer children the Simon Kidgits Club.
The Simon Kidgits Club for children ages 3 to 8 focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment. Parents can sign their children up during mall hours. Membership is $5 annually or $8 for two years and includes a membership card, T-shirt, scheduled activities, a birthday card and gift certificate, discounts and newsletter.

Healthy Eating Kit
Kit contains tips on nutrition and Hispanic recipes, and a Quit Smoking Kit, with a step-by-step guide, Cambie un Habito, to stop smoking permanently. Cambie un Habito can be downloaded from the Health Department's Spanish-language Web site, aasalud.org. Click "Aprenda a Vivir" on the navigation bar, and then click on "Dejar de Fumar." A Breast and Cervical Cancer Kit, with information on prevention and treatment, is also available.
Healthy babies
A free healthy babies kit is available from the Anne Arundel County Healthy Babies Coalition, providing information on calming babies, secondhand smoke, home safety and other pregnancy issues.
