Police reports in Baltimore city and county:

Southwestern Baltimore

Arrest: Lawrence Jones of the 500 block of Thornfield Road was arrested Monday at an undisclosed location by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with attempted murder in the shooting July 1 of a woman, 28, in the 500 block of Brunswick St. In addition to attempted murder, Jones also is charged with first- and second-degree assault, possession of a handgun and other offenses. He was being held on an unspecified bond at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Bank robbery: Police and the FBI were seeking a man who robbed the M&T Bank in the 4500 block of Edmondson Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about noon Monday after giving a teller a note saying he was armed. No weapon was displayed. While the man fled, a dye pack hidden in the money detonated. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 410-265-8080.

Baltimore Co. -- Pikesville

Burglary: Two construction sites in the 8800 block of McDonogh Road were broken into between July 2 and Monday. Taken from one site were tools and welding equipment, all valued at $2,240. From the other site, more than 600 feet of copper piping, all valued at $,3017, was removed.

Baltimore Co. -- Wilkens

Robbery: Police were seeking two men, one armed with a handgun, who forcibly entered a house on Bigley Avenue in Lansdowne about 10 a.m. Monday and removed jewelry valued at $600 from a safe while the three victims, a woman, 41, and two teenagers, were confined to a bedroom.
