Native Berry Festival: Berries, barbecue and bands abound at the Native Berry Festival in Herring Run Park. The festival, which runs noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, features a berry dessert contest conducted by celebrity judges, live music starting at 1:30 p.m., and plenty of crafts, food and beverages. Cherries, blackberries, blueberries, elderberries, mulberries, strawberries and serviceberries will be available. The event is free and open to the public but the dessert contest requires a small donation. The park is at 3545 Belair Road. Go to herringrun.org.

Sondheim finalists: A free exhibition of the work of local artists competing for a $25,000 prize begins Saturday at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Finalists are Karen Yasinsky, Molly Springfield, Jessie Lehson, Ryan Hackett and Leslie Furlong. The BMA is at 10 Art Museum Dr. Call 443-573-1700 or visit artbma.org.

'Democratic Camera': American photographer William Eggleston's groundbreaking color images of everyday objects and a rarely viewed video are part of a new exhibit titled Democratic Camera at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Burlesque bootcamp: Experience a bawdy night of acrobatic acts, strip teases and humor run by Trixie Little and the Evil Hate Monkey at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Ottobar, 2549 N. Howard St. Called Trixie Little's Burlesque Bootcamp Recital, it features other performers such as Maria Bella, Reverend Valentine and Sugar Ann Spice. Tickets are $12. Radiators at the 8x10: The Radiators, a party band from New Orleans, has been filling dance floors since the late '70s with down-home dance tunes they call "fish-head music." Hotspur CD release: Regional powerpop group Hotspur has a new album titled You Should Know Better By Now, and the CD release party is Saturday at Sonar's club stage, 407 E.
