Eastern Baltimore

Theft: Several music CDs were stolen Wednesday from a 2002 Nissan Altima parked in the 800 block of N. Eden St.

Southern Baltimore

Victim identified: Police released the name Thursday of the man found fatally shot early Tuesday in the 100 block of Old Riverside Road near Brooklyn as Anthony Geiger, 41, of the 500 block of Annabel Ave. No arrest had been made. Geiger, a Brooklyn resident, was found about 2:30 a.m. several blocks from his home by Anne Arundel County police. After an investigation, it was determined the location where Geiger was found was in Baltimore and city homicide detectives were notified. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

Stolen vehicle: Police were seeking a purple 1999 Dodge Ram with vanity tags BEAUTY2 that was stolen Tuesday in the 1200 block of Cross St. by someone who shattered a window to gain entry.

Baltimore Co. -- Essex

Burglary: Someone broke into a county Department of Recreation and Parks building in the 800 block of Middle River Road through a window between Tuesday night and Wednesday and stole $200 from a cash register and an assortment of snacks.

Baltimore Co. -- Woodlawn

Robbery: Police were seeking two men, one armed with a handgun, who entered the Shell station in the 8700 block of Liberty Road about 1 p.m. Wednesday and forced an employee to empty the cash register of an undisclosed sum of money. One man fled on foot and the other drove off in a sport utility vehicle with unknown tags.
