The house and outbuildings interpret the agricultural heritage of northern Anne Arundel County. A collection of dolls from around the world also is on display.

The Kuethe Library for Historical and Genealogical Research at 5 Crain Highway S.E., operated jointly with the Anne Arundel Genealogical Society, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday year-round.

Day camp

The Tawes Garden in Annapolis offers a Natural Resources Club Day Camp for children ages 6 to 9 and 10 to 12 who enjoy the outdoors and are interested in nature.

Camps will be held 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and include nature crafts and activities and field trips to parks and nature centers. Camps for ages 6 to 9 are June 22-26, July 6-10, July 20-24 and July 27-31. The cost is $140.

Camp for ages 10 to 12 is July 13-17 and costs $160.

Camps are limited to 12 children. Applications are available in the Tawes Garden Gift Shop and online at www.dnr.state.md.us/publiclands /tawesgarden.html.
