'Wolfgang Amadeus :

THEATER

'Annie':

It's a hard-knock life, especially nowadays with the economy in the tank. Yes, this rags-to-riches tale is escapist and a bit cheesy. But having a Daddy Warbucks around does have its appeal. Opens Friday at the Hippodrome.

TV

'Jon & Kate Plus Eight' :

The tabloids' favorite mega-family is back for another season. While it's unlikely that papa Jon's late-night outings will be discussed (it's the sextuplets' birthdays), that doesn't mean we can't have fun spotting the underlying tension. Airs 9 p.m. Monday on TLC.
