Bills: : Terrell Owens will have even more TV cameras in tow when he arrives in Buffalo this weekend for the start of the team's series of voluntary minicamps. VH-1 confirmed that filming of the Buffalo portion of Owens' reality show will begin Sunday, a day before the Bills open minicamp. The footage is being gathered for a series that follows the day-to-day life of the high-profile star receiver. It is scheduled to premiere on the cable network in late July. Owens reached the deal with VH-1 in January. Owens was released by the Cowboys on March 5, and signed with the Bills two days later.

Jets: : Tight end Bubba Frank re-signed with the New York Jets. The 10-year veteran got a one-year contract.

The violation arose from a February arrest in South Texas for drunken driving. Carter now plays for the Abilene Ruff Riders of the Indoor Football League. In 2003, he led the Cowboys to a 10-6 season and the playoffs in their first season under coach Bill Parcells.

Goins to become second Terps player to transfer

Maryland center Steve Goins, who injured an ankle last season and played little, is expected to transfer. The freshman suffered the injury and wore a protective boot during Maryland's early-season nonconference schedule. He began practicing in January but played in only four games and scored two points. The 6-foot-10 center from Chicago was considering transferring to a smaller school, according to an official close to the basketball program who asked that his name not be used because the transfer was not completed. Maryland said it has not yet officially granted Goins' release. Several Maryland fan Web sites reported that Goins was leaving. Earlier this month, Braxton Dupree, a 6-8 sophomore from Calvert Hall, received his release. Maryland is hoping to upgrade its inside game next season with the additions of Jordan Williams, a 6-10 power forward from Torrington, Conn., and James Padgett, a 6-8 power forward from Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.
