Brian Carroll scored a career-high five goals, Danny Glading had four, and Steele Stanwick (Boys' Latin) added three goals and two assists for the Cavaliers (14-2).

Princeton 10, Massachusetts 7: : The host Tigers (13-2) led 6-1 by halftime and held off a late rally by the Minutemen (9-6). Fourth seed Princeton, which advances to face Cornell on Saturday, was led by Mark Kovler with five goals.
Syracuse 11, Siena 4: : Kenny Nims totaled five points (one goal, four assists) as the second-seeded Orange (13-2) beat the visiting Saints (12-6). Syracuse faces Maryland on Saturday.
Women
North Carolina 15, Towson 4: : A trio of hat tricks from Corey Donohoe, Chelsea Parks and Kristen Taylor powered the third-seeded Tar Heels (14-4) past the visiting Tigers (13-6) in the first round of the NCAA Division I tournament.
Taylor gave North Carolina a 1-0 lead before Towson's Nikki Marcinik (two goals) evened the score at 26:13 of the first half. Carolina scored three straight goals and limited the Tigers to two goals each half.
Towson ended a nearly 31-minute drought with 8:50 remaining when Jacie Kendall scored to cut the lead to 13-3, but the Tar Heels netted two of the final three goals.
Northwestern 23, Massachusetts 6: : Katrina Dowd celebrated her 21st birthday with a career-best seven goals and the top-seeded Wildcats (20-0) soundly defeated the visiting Minutewomen (11-8). Northwestern hosts Princeton on Saturday.
Pennsylvania 10, Fairfield 8: : The fourth-seeded Quakers (14-2) used a balanced scoring attack, scoring five goals per half to beat the visiting Stags (17-3). Penn's Ali DeLuca and Becca Edwards each had two goals and two assists.
Duke 15, Virginia 13, 2OT: : Lindsay Gilbride converted on a free-position chance with 28 seconds left in the first extra period and Danieele Kachulis added a goal with five seconds left in the second for the host Blue Devils (15-5). Fifth seed Duke faces host Penn on Saturday. The Cavaliers finished 11-8.
