Big Drama's versatility is what the Fawkeses like best.
"He's very push-button to ride," Celia said. "He's very responsive. He'll do anything you ask him, whether it's sprint or go two turns. He does like to lay close to the pace, but he's got such a good turn of foot. ... He's very, very smart."
Monterrey rode Big Drama twice, followed by Paco Lopez (three times) and Coa (twice). Because Coa will be aboard Musket Man in the Preakness, David Fawkes will put John Velazquez on his horse.
"Everything I've put in front of this horse - every hurdle - he's jumped," Fawkes said. Notes: : The Preakness field stood at nine Wednesday with the additions of Musket Man, General Quarters, Terrain and Take the Points. The limit is 14. ... Three of the top four finishers in the Kentucky Derby are entered in the Preakness, including winner Mine That Bird, Musket Man (third) and Papa Clem (fourth). General Quarters (10th) and Flying Private (19th) also are entered. Only Bob Baffert's Derby runner-up Pioneerof the Nile is missing. Who's in the preakness
