Four veteran wide receivers - Jerry Porter, Kelley Washington, D.J. Hackett and Tab Perry - will try out for the Ravens at this weekend's minicamp, a team official told The Baltimore Sun on Wednesday.

Depending on the workouts, the Ravens could sign all or none of the receivers, the official said. The team is expected to make a decision Monday.

The Ravens are looking for size, bringing in four receivers who are at least 6 feet 2 and weigh over 200 pounds.

Porter, 30, had 11 catches for 181 yards and one touchdown last season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. His best season recently came in 2007 with the Oakland Raiders when he had 44 receptions for 705 yards and six touchdowns.

Washington, 29, made only one catch for 3 yards last season for the New England Patriots. In his first two seasons in the NFL (2003-2004), he totaled 53 catches and seven touchdowns for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hackett, 27, caught 13 passes for 181 yards and no touchdowns last season in his only year with the Carolina Panthers. He averaged 35 catches in three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

Perry, 27, didn't play last season for the Miami Dolphins after tearing an Achilles tendon last May. More a special teams player, Perry has 10 catches in three seasons with the Bengals.

Injury update

Starting right guard Marshal Yanda will be limited in the Ravens' minicamp this weekend and likely will be placed on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp.

Yanda had surgery in October to repair the medial and posterior collateral ligaments in his right knee and then underwent surgery for his torn anterior cruciate ligament in December. Until Yanda is ready, the Ravens are expected to go with Chris Chester at right guard.

The Ravens' cornerback group will also have a number of players limited because of injury: Fabian Washington (shoulder surgery), Samari Rolle (groin), Chris Carr (shoulder surgery), Frank Walker (shoulder surgery) and Derrick Martin (shoulder).

Wide receiver Derrick Mason (shoulder surgery) won't participate in minicamp as a precautionary measure. The Ravens are interested in seeing how much receiver Demetrius Williams (ankle) can handle.

Others who could be limited are: running back Willis McGahee, who recently had a procedure to clean out his knee; tight end Todd Heap (back); receiver Mark Clayton (unknown); offensive tackles Willie Anderson (back) and Adam Terry (knee); and linebacker Antwan Barnes (chest).

Good showing

The Ravens have had an impressive showing in their offseason program.

Some players who usually don't attend - linebacker Ray Lewis and safety Ed Reed - both participated the past two weeks. Other than Anderson, the offensive linemen have been at Ravens headquarters the entire offseason.
