After receiving a report of an armed person inside a Wal-Mart in Glen Burnie on Wednesday morning, Anne Arundel County police searched the area for 15 minutes and detained two men, authorities said. Justin Mulcahy, a county police spokesman, said that about 8 a.m., police received a tip that two men were inside the store in the 6700 block of Chesapeake Center Drive, and one was carrying a handgun. Officers evacuated the building as a precaution, he said. Police detained two men who were taken to the Northern District for questioning, Mulcahy said. Police did not find any weapons on the men and the pair have not been criminally charged, Mulcahy said. No one was injured, Mulcahy said.
