NHL: : Patrick Sharp scored twice to tie it and David Bolland put Chicago ahead with a short-handed breakaway to help the Blackhawks tie their second-round playoff series at a game apiece with a 6-3 victory over the host Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night.

BASEBALL: : The Seattle Mariners placed closer Brandon Morrow on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 24, because of biceps tendinitis. Morrow is perfect in his past five save chances. ... The Philadelphia Phillies activated catcher Carlos Ruiz from the DL.

COLLEGE FOOOTBALL: : Two Marshall players have been suspended after being arrested on drug charges in Barboursville, W.Va. Tailback Darius Marshall and defensive back DeQuan Bembry, also known as DeQuan Starling, were arrested early Saturday in Cabell County and charged with possession with intent to deliver. Last season as a sophomore, Marshall ran for 1,177 yards and scored five touchdowns. Bembry had 80 tackles as a redshirt freshman.

SOCCER: : Jaime Moreno scored his first two goals of the season 10 minutes apart in the second half to lift D.C. United (3-1-3) to a 2-1 win over visiting FC Dallas (2-4-1) in Major League Soccer.

TENNIS:: Top-ranked Dinara Safina rallied to defeat Flavia Pennetta, 3-6, 7-5, 6-0, to set up a showdown with Svetlana Kuznetsova in the final of the WTA Porsche Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany. Kuznetsova defeated second seed Elena Dementieva, 6-4, 6-2.

NBA: : Starting guard Courtney Lee has been medically cleared to play but is not expected back for the Orlando Magic anytime soon as he recovers from surgery on his fractured sinus. J.J. Redick will likely start in his place.
