Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler continued his destruction of Orioles pitching with a home run to lead off the game and a two-run homer in the second inning. Kinsler went 6-for-6 and hit for the cycle in a game this month against the Orioles and is 30-for-59 (.508) against them since the beginning of 2008.

Nick Markakis extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a double into the left-field corner in the fourth inning. Markakis then scored on Ty Wigginton's single to put the Orioles on the board. Markakis leads the American League in doubles with nine.

Brad Bergesen will try to move his career record to 2-0 as the Orioles host the Rangers at 1:35 p.m. Sunday for the third of four games in the series. Bergesen beat the Chicago White Sox in his debut Tuesday. He will face Brandon McCarthy, a former top prospect who is 2-0 in three starts. McCarthy allowed three runs in six innings in a no-decision against the Orioles earlier this season.
