The white-tie-and-pearl anniversary event honors hospice founding members Martha and Dr. Hilary O'Herlihy. Food, a casino table, dancing to the sounds of Radio City and an auction are planned.
Proceeds will help support Hospice of the Chesapeake.

Men's support group : Anne Arundel Medical Center is offering a support group for men affected by prostate cancer. Man to Man, founded in partnership with the American Cancer Society, meets 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the first Monday of each month in the Clatanoff Pavilion.
The group offers members a chance to hear from physicians about the disease and its treatment and learn about new research and treatment options. Men with recently diagnosed prostate cancer, cancer survivors interested in helping others, and patients with prostate disease are welcome. Those who attend are welcome to bring family members. 443-481-5862 or aahs.org. Registration is not required.
