Abrams joined Hospice of the Chesapeake in 1993 and has dedicated his professional life to expanding its services and ensuring that patients and their families are treated with dignity.
During his tenure, Abrams helped demonstrate that community-based hospices can offer a home-like alternative to home care. Hospice of the Chesapeake now operates such a facility in Harwood in addition to its original residence in Linthicum.
