Blake Geiger Calvert Hall, baseball

In anchoring a 10-0 victory over then-No. 5 Archbishop Spalding last week, the senior pitcher was two outs away from a no-hitter. This came on the heels of an 8-0 win over St. Paul's, in which he was two outs away from a perfect game. "To pitch back-to-back one-hit games is unheard of," coach Lou Eckerl said. This season, Geiger is 3-0 with an 0.78 ERA, striking out 31 of 64 batters in 18 innings. Opposing teams' batting average against him is .103. He has committed to the University of Richmond.
